What is Jasmine Rice?
Jasmine rice was officially imported into Vietnam in 1992 and is widely grown in the Mekong Delta.
Jasmine rice is often grown in two seasons: Summer - Autumn and Winter - Spring, because this season will give a high yield and a more stable harvest.
Jasmine rice is characterized by long grain, clear white, hard stem and few flat seeds. When cooked, it has a mild aroma, the seeds are supple and each seed is usually about 6.8mm in length.
Jasmine rice is also quite cheap, so it is popular with many families, restaurants and eateries. In addition, Jasmine rice is also often exported to other countries because of its quality and beautiful appearance.
